I'm back

So I was having issues with my account but now I have solved most if not all my issues and I am back.

What has happened? Not much, I have been working and living and that's about it.

I am now working on finishing school. I have two courses left this quarter ending on April 30. Wish me luck. I think I can do this. Not only that but I am working on a certificate that I hope to have done in May and possibly start a new one. I am going to say it now. I am crazy!

I am also in a crazy book phase in my life. I have read 21 books since the start of 2021. Some are really wanted to read but never got around to it or were recommended to me.

Here is a shortlist of some of my top picks because you know you are always looking for something to read like me. :)

  1. Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology by Leah Remini ~ This is a great read that has a lot of interesting information about Scientology and you can learn a lot about it from a former member.

  2. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens ~ This was recommended to me and it was very enjoyable. I heard it will be made into a movie soon as well so I would say read it before the movie to give yourself a chance to be ahead of the game.

  3. Is it Just Me? by Miranda Hart ~ I love Miranda Hart and her show is one of my all-time favorites. This is a fun quick book to lighten the mood and make you feel amazing.

  4. Where'd You Go, Bernadette? by Maria Semple ~ This was also recommended to me and is also a movie. I haven't seen the movie but the book was enjoyable and you will not believe the ending

  5. Beneath the Shadows by Sara Foster ~ This is one that I found and wasn't sure about it. I have to say it is enjoyable. It is a mystery so if you like that sort of thing you might enjoy this.

  6. The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis ~ It is a Netflix mini-series and I did watch it before I read the book but I do think you need to read it if you like the show. It is so worth it.

Okay, so these are just some of the books I have read so far. I totally think that reading is a great pastime but you need to have the time to do it.
