What a Week!

Week 2! Are you still with me?

So here is my summary for this week.

  • Voted

  • Sister came to visit

  • Working a lot

  • Studying some (shh don't tell)

Yeah, a low key week for me.

Let's get going.

My sister from AZ came to visit. She was out at work but stopped by to see her favorite sister. I am so happy I got to see her.

Then work has been good. Still, I like my job. My boss had to leave for work this week so I had a lot of projects to stay busy with.

Then I have been also studying. As I mentioned in my last post, I have gone back to school. I am going to Western Governors University (WGU). I really like it. They work so hard to make sure you succeed. I took a pre-assessment test, to see what I needed to work on and I passed the test. There were two areas that I needed to work on but overall I passed. Super surprised and really proud of myself. I can't believe that I did so well. Going to set up to take the test this weekend or next week.

I want to move this shit along. :)

Okay so here is my first plug. Don't hate me. I am going to plug my school. It is an online school with a lot of flexibility. If you are thinking about going back to school, I really hope you look at WGU. They are nice and will help you along the way.

Here is a link for the school. Take a look-see if you see something you like. I chose this school because they were flexible, you can take the assessment test to move forward to pass the things you know and focus on the things you need to work on. This is huge for me because one of the things that have happened with me in the past is if I know about a topic, I zone out and don't always come back into focus in time to learn something new.

Oh, and if you need an extra reason, you do get a school email address that you can use online for student discounts. Yes, it is a cheap reason to do it but a discount is a discount and I have no money so I am going to take it.

Disclosure time: By my sharing this link with you, and you click on it to learn more about WGU, I earn $30 for the Campus store and if you apply, you don't have to pay the application fee (a $65 value). See we both get something.

I really, truly hope that if you are looking to go back to school, you will look at this school. It is something that I am happy I did and I want to make sure that you don't miss a chance to grow if this school can help you do so.
